Frequently Asked Questions - Holiday

What are your hours?

We open for the Christmas season the day after Thanksgiving. We keep updated hours on Google. Black Friday 2024 9am-5pm. Normal hours are 9am-8pm weekdays, 9am-6pm weekends. We usually close around 12/23…when we run out of trees.

We offer bedding plants and more during May and June. We typically open for the spring season around May 1 and close around July4.

What do you sell?

During the holiday season we sell Christmas trees, wreaths, and garland. You’ll also find various accouterments like big pine cones, bundles of boughs, ornaments, and tree stands. Sorry, no poinsettias.

In the spring we offer annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, herb and veggie starts, and potting soil.

What do we do when we found a tree?

Our crew is here to help. Let one of us know and we will take it from there. We will give your tree a fresh cut and tie it to your car if needed. If we are very busy, it’s a good idea to keep someone from your party guarding your tree if we cannot help you right away.

¿Se habla espanol?

Sí, unos de nosotros hablan. Busque Cristian, David, Charlie, o Mike.

Do you deliver Christmas trees?

Yes we do. Please use our delivery request form and we will be in touch. Price starts at $25 and depends on location and size of tree. Fresh cut included. We can deliver to most locations. Click here for the request form.

Do Christmas trees need to have a fresh cut?

All of our trees do, yes. The trees have all sealed their trunks to preserve themselves. Giving a fresh cut opens the tree so it can drink water. We offer fresh cuts if you want one.

How long does a fresh cut last?

We recommend getting the tree in water within an hour, maximum. The sooner the better. If it has been a while since we did the fresh cut, you will need to take a sliver off at home.

Do we need to bring rope or tie-downs?

You don’t need to. We will secure your tree with our twine. If you’d rather use your own, that is up to you. We can tie on anything.

Can I buy a tree now and put it up later?

Definitely. Just remember to give it a fresh cut before you put it up.

How should I store my tree before I put it up?

If you won’t be putting the tree up right away, it’s important to store it correctly. The best thing to do is to lay it down in the shade with a sheet or blanket over it (something breathable *not a tarp or plastic*). If it is still bundled, go ahead and cut the strings. Especially if it will be warm and dry, we even recommend adding some moisture. We wet down our backstock regularly.

Will you have Charlie Browns this year?

Yes! These are typically the last ones we get to setting up, usually not available until after opening weekend.

Will you have Colorado White fir this year?

Yes! We will put an update on the homepage when they are in.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes we do. They never expire and can be used during our spring season also. We offer hand written gift certificates that can be collected at the farm, or printable certificates that can be emailed. Gift certificates.

What’s the elf’s name?

That’s Cookie’s cousin, Twigs! He hangs out on various shelves during the season.
