Pickup Protocol – Spring ’20

We have made the decision to only offer online shopping with curbside pickup for our spring 2020 season. For details on this decision, please see the blog post regarding “Our COVID-19 Response.”

Shop and schedule your pickup online. You can pay securely with a credit card, or select the “cash or check on pickup” option.

How It Works

Schedule Your Pickup

At checkout, you will be prompted to schedule a date and time for your pickup. We have designated time slots with a maximum number of orders to expedite the pickup process. Please honor the time you selected at checkout. This will help ensure your order is handled in the most efficient manner. For example, if you are early, we may not have your order completed.

Social Distancing

We are practicing social distancing guidelines at the farm. Please practice social distancing when you come for your order. We request that you wear a facial covering or mask. Please help keep our staff healthy so that we may continue to serve the community. If you are sick, please stay home. Be smart. Be safe.

Stay In Your Lane

Our parking lot will be divided into lanes. Please stay in your vehicle, and a staff member will direct you to the next available pickup area. If you have placed an online order, please queue in an “Online Pickup” lane.

Have Order Details Ready

In order to best identify your order, please have your order information available. This includes name, order number, and pickup date/time. This can all be found in the email you receive after placing your order.

During Pickup

Please stay in your vehicle until your turn. After pulling into the loading area, we request you  remain in or by your vehicle to help us maintain minimum social distancing guidelines. Please open your trunk for us (or wherever you’d like your plants). We are happy to load for you, or you can load yourself~either/or please.

Did You Forget to Order Something?

We absolutely understand. If possible, we will assist you with any add-on purchases at the farm. If we are quite busy, this may not be an option, so please double check your order before you place it.

Drive Slowly

Traffic in the parking lot is one way, like normal. Of course, this doesn’t always happen. Please be extra cautious.

Patience is a Virtue

This process is new to all of us. We appreciate your patience and will make this happen as best we can. If ever you have suggestions for improvements, please contact us.

A Note on Severe Weather

As we are completely outdoors, severe weather will delay order fulfillment. If the weather is unsafe (e.g. lightning or hail), we will contact you to reschedule your pickup.

Have Fun

It’s a beautiful time of year! Let’s get our hands dirty in a good way.

  1. We are interested in coleus, tall begonias and asparagus fern for our two large pots in a our north location. Are any of these available? We will be in Longmont next Thursday.
